Oh, yeah. That took me a bit too long to figure out; I think it's a stepping stone in my automotive enlightenment. This year has been a successful one—I've added old MBs, Volvos, and now, Saabs to my circle of knowledge and respect (hell, I almost bought a 300E with an MT). I still don't really appreciate new supercars or many new sports cars, but I was a fourth grader drooling over anything with technological advancements and loads of power long ago. It's kind of funny how tastes change.

I always liked the Sonett, of course, and I didn't dislike Saabs (esp. pre-GM models), but now I actually see the appeal.

I like the latter day GMs. A lot. But now... no longer. Fun fact: Maybach went out of business in the same year, but nobody gave a shit.
